Privacy policy

We at Figgjo AS will process the information you give us in a secure manner. Here you can read how we collect and process information about you.

Responsibility

Figgjo AS, org. No. 911 623 986, by the general manager, is responsible for the treatment of personal data that is processed by the company.

1. What personal information do we process and why?
If you contact us, we will need your name and email address in connection with the offer and sales process, in order to conduct any trade, and to be able to find your information if you visit us again.

We receive personal information you choose to publish through social media. We can, for example, collect information from your social media profile if you post publicly about us or to us.

2. Retention of personal data
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is kept only for the minimum period required for the purposes set forth in this Statement. The criteria for determining the duration for which your personal information is to be kept are as follows:

(1) We keep your personal information in a way that allows identification only as long as:
(a) we maintain a continuing relationship with you (for example if you are a user of our Services or if you are voluntarily included in our mailing list and have not terminated your subscription);
or (b) Your personal information is required for any legitimate purpose mentioned in this Statement that we have a valid legal basis for (for example when your personal information is included in a contract between us and your employer, and we have a legitimate interest in processing this information for conducting our business and fulfilling our obligations under that contract, or where we have a legal obligation to keep your personal information);

as well as:
(2) the duration of:
(a) any applicable limitation period under applicable law (i.e. any period of time that any person may make a legal claim against us in connection with your personal data, or to which your personal information is relevant); and
(b) an additional two-month period (2) at the end of such applicable limitation period (so that if a person corrects a claim at the end of the limitation period, we nevertheless have reasonable time to identify any personal information relevant to that claim);

and:
(3) Further, if any relevant legal claims are addressed, we will continue to process the personal data for such additional periods as are required in connection with that claim.

During the periods in paragraphs (2)(a) and (2)(b) above, we limit our processing of personal data to the retention of, and maintenance of, the security of that information, except to the extent that such information must be reviewed in connection with any legal claim, or any obligation under applicable law.

As soon as the timescales in paragraphs (1), (2) and (3) above, each to the extent that they apply, have expired, we will do the following: permanently delete or destroy the relevant personal data; or anonymise the relevant personal data.

Sensitive personal information

We do not attempt to collect or otherwise process sensitive personal information in our regular business. Where it becomes necessary to process your sensitive personal information for some reason, we rely on one of the following legal bases:

• Compliance with applicable law: We may process your sensitive personal information where processing is required or permitted under applicable law (for example to comply with our reporting obligations on diversity);
• Criminal Actions Detection and Prevention: We may process sensitive personal information where processing is necessary for the detection or prevention of criminal acts (for example fraud prevention);
• Creating, Executing or Defending Legal Rights: We may process sensitive personal information where processing is required for the creation, exercise or defense of legal rights; or
• Consent: We may process the sensitive personal information when we, in accordance with applicable law, have obtained your prior expressed consent to process your sensitive personal information (this legal basis is used only for the purposes of fully voluntary processing – it is not used for processing that is in some way necessary or mandatory).

If you provide us with sensitive personal information, make sure that it is legal for you to disclose such information to us. You must ensure that a valid legal basis applies to the processing of this sensitive personal information.
